Last updated October 13, 2026

If your Apple Watch will not detect your phone has started a session, follow these steps to troubleshoot

Apple Watch app not installed? Try this

Sometimes the ChipIn Shot Tracker Apple Watch app does not install automatically.

This often happens when:

  • Your iPhone or Apple Watch is not connected to Wi-Fi
  • The Watch was not on your wrist or charging during install
  • The connection between your iPhone and Watch was interrupted

You can manually install the Watch app in a few steps.

Manually install the ChipIn Shot Tracker Watch app

Follow these steps on your iPhone:

  • Open the Apple Watch app
  • Tap the My Watch tab
  • Scroll down to the Installed on Apple Watch section

Check if ChipIn Shot Tracker appears here.

If it does not:

  • Scroll further to the Available Apps section
  • Find ChipIn Shot Tracker in the list
  • Tap Install next to ChipIn Shot Tracker

Keep your iPhone and Apple Watch close together while it installs.

If the install does not start

Try this:

  • Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi
  • Make sure your Apple Watch is charging
  • Keep the Watch app open during install

Once installed, ChipIn Shot Tracker will appear on your Apple Watch app list.

Apple Watch Installed but not starting? Try This

Restart both devices:

  • Restart your iPhone
  • Restart your Apple Watch
  • Repeat the manual install steps above

If the app still does not install, contact ChipIn Shot Tracker support and tell us:
