ChipIn Shot Tracker Equipment & Device Requirements

ChipIn Shot Tracker runs entirely on your iPhone — no extra hardware, no expensive gear. But there are a few requirements to make sure everything works as it should.

iPhone Requirements

ChipIn Shot Tracker only runs on iPhone. Android is not supported.

• iPhone 11 Pro or newer
• iOS 26 or above
• iPhone SE models are not compatible

Not sure what iOS you're running? Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check and update if needed.

Equipment You Need

You don't need much to get started.

• A tripod or stable base positioned between 6"/15cm and 12"/30cm off the ground

Using ChipIn Shot Tracker with a Virtual Simulator

Want to play virtual golf? You'll need a second device to run your simulator program.

• E6 Simulator — works with an iPhone, iPad, or PC
• GSPro Simulator — requires a PC

Your iPhone handles the shot tracking. Your second device runs the course.
